After completing my degree in Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, my passion for restoring movement and enhancing physical resilience was further ignited as I returned to my hometown to pursue a Master’s in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa.
Throughout my academic journey, I gained valuable experience in a variety of settings such as in acute hospital care, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation at specialized centers, and the treatment of orthopedic and sports injuries in private clinics.
Building on this broad foundation, I completed the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Level 1 and Level 2 Upper Courses, which have sharpened my skills in the assessment and treatment of orthopedic conditions. I love helping clients break through their pain, overcome obstacles and find joy in movement and exercise.
Along the way, I discovered a passion for helping individuals with dizziness and balance disorders, leading me to earn a postgraduate Vestibular Rehabilitation Certification. I also enjoy creating exercise programs for older adults aimed at reducing falls and enhancing their overall health as they age. It’s been incredibly rewarding helping clients with dizziness, vertigo, and balance issues regain control of their lives and confidently manage their conditions.
My diverse experiences have shaped a holistic approach to physiotherapy, one that focuses on delivering personalized, compassionate care. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, healing from an injury, or managing acute or chronic dizziness/vertigo, I am committed to providing treatment that not only supports physical recovery but also fosters a lasting sense of confidence and well-being.
Outside of work, I stay active through running, cycling, skiing, weight training, and playing ringette. I also love spending time outdoors camping, traveling, and enjoying moments with family and friends.

After having completed my Integrated Science degree at McMaster University, I spent an amazing three years at Dalhousie University where I earned both my MSc Physiotherapy and MSc Rehabilitation Research, with a special focus on novel skill acquisition and accelerated motor learning techniques using feedback and observation. I am especially interested in the intersection of research and clinical practice, and love finding ways to share exciting new findings and evidence with my patients!
My assessment and treatment approach is centered around empowerment, education, and aiming to understand the unique impacts that an injury can have on your function and quality of life. I am committed to ensuring my patients are involved as decision makers in their recovery pathway and use my skills in therapeutic exercise and manual therapy to deliver an evidence-based, dynamic treatment plan focused on your individual goals and needs. I firmly believe in the promotion of an active, healthy lifestyle as a means to restore and enhance function and reduce the risk of future recurrence of injuries.
In my spare time, I enjoy trying out new recipes, rock climbing, and trail running with many of the local clubs in Gatineau Park. As a frequent participant in ultramarathons ranging from 50 to 100 kms in distance, I have a special interest in the rehabilitation of outdoor athletes and running-related injuries, and am excited to incorporate my extensive experience in these pursuits into a versatile rehabilitation program!

As a classically trained dancer, I developed a strong passion for movement and control of the human body at an early age. I decided to join the physiotherapy world to further fuel my keen interest in Human Kinetics and completed my Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy in 2015.
In early 2016, I became a certified yoga instructor to widen my knowledge and perfect my understanding of movement, breathing, and motor patterning. As I combined this approach to my physiotherapy assessment and treatment skills, I was able to witness such value in the journey of my clients, especially the ones suffering from ongoing aches and pains.
My own journey of life-long learning is never ending, and I continue to take various additional post-graduate courses to offer effective treatment options. Most recently, in 2023, I embarked on my journey with my Pelvic Health certifications, which felt like such a natural progression after spending years honing in on the importance of core, spine and breathwork and how it is all so intertwined! This has allowed me to deepen my understanding of persistent pain, common conditions and explore new avenues and solutions with my patients.
I always strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle and enjoy a variety of activities such as running, yoga, weight training, swimming, and beach volleyball. I’m an avid traveler always looking to discover new places.

My journey actually started as a Registered Massage Therapist; where I fostered my initial love for hands-on therapy. Being an avid lifelong learner, I completed my Master of Health Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa in 2010, following Bachelor Degrees in Physical and Health Education, Biology and Education from Queen’s University.
My thirst for mastering hands-on therapy and clinical reasoning, led me to continue my education while working as a Physiotherapist, earning a Master of Clinical Science in Manipulative Physiotherapy at Western University in 2014. I am a proud Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy.
I believe we are all greater in our roles when we share knowledge and work collaboratively. Like my esteemed mentor, Lenerdene Levesque, I always endeavour to mix the best of evidence-based treatments to find the most effective solutions for my clients… and am extremely passionate about sharing dialogue and experiences with my colleagues on an ongoing basis!
Between my cumulative life and professional experiences, I have developed a keen professional interest for exercise-based treatment, sports injuries, dry needling and treating TMJ patients. Additionally, I take great pride in applying my various modalities in treating challenging, or unique conditions that have been unsuccessful through other previous interventions; I love being able to crack the case! I believe the success of my practice lies in my passion to combine targeted hands-on and exercise-based interventions with my clients.
Beyond this, as a resident of beautiful Chelsea, I enjoy cycling on every type of bike, padding sea kayaks, multi-day thru-hiking and the occasional adventure race!

I started my journey into the world of exercise science having completed a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Western University. During my time there, I was very fortunate to have hands-on experience as a Varsity Strength and Conditioning Coach and, later, became the Athletic Therapist for both the men’s and women’s varsity soccer teams. My passion for orthopedics and sports rehabilitation were unstoppable and from there I went on to earn my Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa!
My approach has always been patient-centered with an emphasis on guiding and educating my clients so that they not only understand their personal rehabilitation journey, but they can be autonomous and self-manage in the future. I am devoted to improving functional measures through guided and therapeutic strength, mobility and endurance treatment planning to support long term rehab, goals and ultimately their lives. I believe that a key marker for success and longevity lies in a healthy and active lifestyle and strive to make this a fun endeavor for all of my clients.
Outside of being a physiotherapist, I love to run and enjoy all of the outdoors Ottawa has to offer. I aspire to complete a marathon and an Iron man in my future. If I’m not outdoors, I can be found in the kitchen experimenting with different dishes.
If you’re ready to tackle your goals, whether it’s overcoming pain or reaching new fitness heights, I’m here to help you every step of the way. Let’s make progress together!
